After years of performing on some of the world’s biggest stages as a member of Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s legendary Egypt 80 band, Keji Hamilton is stepping back into the spotlight with the release of his new single, “Agbaya People,” under HIS Media Empire.

For more than a decade, Keji Hamilton travelled extensively with Egypt 80, performing Afrobeat from the East Coast to the West Coast of the United States, across North America, and throughout Europe, including France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands.

A gifted multi-instrumentalist, Hamilton’s musical journey has seen him master lead guitar, bass guitar, piano, congas, and alto saxophone, earning him respect among musicians and audiences alike.

Now, with “Agbaya People,” he returns with a record that is both entertaining and thought-provoking. Built around a familiar Nigerian expression, the song examines the choices, attitudes, and behaviors that shape everyday life.

Released through HIS Media Empire, “Agbaya People” marks the beginning of a new chapter for an artist whose career has already crossed continents and generations.
