Fast-rising Nigerian singer Jubet is gaining attention following the growing success of his breakout single, Hardest Truth, which has continued to record impressive numbers across streaming platforms, social media and international music charts.

The song has generated more than 2.2 million TikTok video creations, over 4 million streams on Audiomack and more than 2 million streams on Spotify.

It has also surpassed 1.5 million streams each on Apple Music and Boomplay, recorded over 1.2 million YouTube audio views and generated more than 586,000 Shazams globally.

The growing popularity of the record has been reflected on major music charts. Hardest Truth debuted on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart at number 14 but now moved up to 8 and entered the Spotify Nigeria Top 100.

On Shazam, the song climbed to No. 2 on the Worldwide Chart, where it spent two consecutive weeks before dropping to No. 7. It also reached No. 1 on Shazam charts in Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.

The record has charted in more than 20 countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Côte d’Ivoire, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States and several Caribbean territories.

Music industry stakeholders have attributed part of the song’s growth to its strong emotional appeal among listeners. Across TikTok and other social media platforms, users have adopted the record in videos centred on relationships, personal experiences and reflective storytelling.

Born Akanbi Oluwa Jubelo Emmanuel, Jubet has steadily built his audience through emotionally driven music and storytelling.

The artist is managed by entertainment executive Louiza Williams through Loui-K Empire. According to industry observers, the strategy around the singer has focused on audience development, digital visibility and long-term positioning.

As Hardest Truth continues to gain traction across multiple territories, Jubet is emerging as one of the Nigerian artists attracting growing attention beyond the country’s borders.
