I-Invest, a digital investment platform, has launched an enhanced mobile application featuring faster navigation, stronger security and a new asset-backed loan product that allows investors to borrow against their portfolios.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos, Chief Executive Officer of Parthian Technology, Mrs. Tobi Olusoga, said the company’s mission remains focused on making investing easier for everyday Nigerians.
According to her, “The very reason we started I-Invest remains exactly the same. The problem we set out to solve was how to make investing easier for everyday Nigerians.”
Olusoga noted that the platform was created to remove barriers that made wealth creation difficult for many people.
He said: “Building wealth should not be based on who you know. Those questions became the foundation of what eventually became I-Invest.”
Highlighting the company’s growth, he stated: “I-Invest started as an application providing access to Treasury Bills. Today, it has evolved into a full suite of investment products ranging from equities, fixed income, mutual funds, savings products and much more.”
He added that the company takes pride in helping more Nigerians begin their investment journey.
“The thing I am most proud of is not the number of products we have launched. It is the number of people we have helped get started,” he said.
On the new app, Head of Products, Jennifer Omame, said: “We have reimagined the I-Invest app from the ground up. We have made it faster and easier for our customers to invest.”
She explained that the upgraded platform offers improved speed, simplified onboarding and enhanced security through a four-digit transaction PIN.
“We are now giving our customers more control and protection over their sensitive transactions,” she said.
Omame also unveiled the new asset-backed loan product, saying: “Users can now borrow against either their fixed-income portfolio or their equity holdings on the app.”
According to her, the feature will enable investors to access liquidity without selling their investments.
Chief Technology Officer, Kole Kuyoro, said trust remains the foundation of the platform.
“In the financial space, trust is everything. Security and consistency are not negotiable. We have strengthened encryption, authentication and data protection systems to ensure customers’ investments remain secure,” he said.
He added: “Technology is evolving and customer expectations are changing. This rebuild positions us to deliver more features and better experiences in the future.”
