A support group under the aegis of CG Musa 4 PBAT has officially launched its activities in the nation’s capital on Monday with an explicit endorsement of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Speaking at a press briefing, the group’s Director General, Barr. Babakura Waziri, announced that the movement is designed to mobilize grassroots support for the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Babakura emphasized that the group brings together Nigerians from diverse backgrounds who are united by a shared belief in the President’s vision for national development.
The movement said it draws its inspiration from the leadership of the Hon. Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), which reflects President Tinubu’s strategic commitment to competence and national security.
Speaking further, the group’s Director of Publicity, Usman Saleh Hassan, referenced the political philosopher Niccolò Machiavelli, noting that a ruler’s intelligence is often judged by the quality of leaders they keep around them.
Hassan argued that Tinubu’s appointment of Musa is a proof of a governance model rooted in merit and strategic foresight, adding that the administration’s economic reforms, robust infrastructure projects, youth empowerment initiatives, and a clear commitment to inclusive governance, is also a force behind the group’s support for CG Musa PBAT movement.
According to them: “Allowing President Tinubu a second term is vital for Nigeria to fully consolidate its ongoing economic recovery and institutional reforms, ensuring that the foundational work already laid yields long-term national progress”.
The group expressed strong confidence in the administration’s current security sector reforms and strategic investments aimed at neutralizing internal threats and strengthening Nigeria’s defence capabilities.
”We plan to launch extensive public sensitization campaigns and grassroots engagement drives across the nation and we urge youths, women, and community leaders to actively partner with the government, maintaining that unified citizen participation is the ultimate key to a secure and prosperous Nigeria”, Waziri said.
