The leadership and entire members of Renewed Hope Engineers have described the emergence of Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as the act of God.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the National Coordinator of Renewed Hope Engineers, Engr. Atinuke Wuraola Owolabi, Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers, stated that the engineering community across Nigeria is fully mobilized and prepared to ensure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming general election.

According to her, “This landmark victory reflects the overwhelming confidence reposed in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu by party members, stakeholders, professionals, youths, women, and millions of Nigerians who continue to believe in the Renewed Hope agenda and the transformational leadership he represents.

“As engineers and professionals committed to national development, infrastructural growth, innovation, industrialization, youth empowerment, and sustainable economic advancement, we strongly identify with the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the progressive ideals of the APC.

“The engineering cadre in Nigeria represents a formidable professional and grassroots force with a numerical strength of over 15 million practitioners, young engineers, technologists, artisans, innovators, and allied professionals across the country. We are fully committed to mobilizing this strength in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC because we strongly believe in his vision for economic growth, infrastructure renewal, digital transformation, industrial development, and national prosperity”, she said

Owolabi further noted that Renewed Hope Engineers has already commenced strategic grassroots mobilization, professional engagement, youth sensitization, and campus voter registration drives across tertiary institutions to encourage active participation in the democratic process and support for the Renewed Hope agenda.

Notably, Owolabi has championed several impactful initiatives under her leadership, including engineering mentorship and empowerment programs for young professionals and female engineers, digital and technology development initiatives, innovation-driven capacity-building projects, STEM advocacy campaigns, and humanitarian intervention programs targeted at community development and youth inclusion.

Owolabi currently serves as a Governing Board Member of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), representing the South-West, where she continues to contribute to strategic national development initiatives, infrastructure advocacy, humanitarian interventions, and community transformation programs across Nigeria.

She reaffirmed that engineers remain critical stakeholders in nation-building and pledged continuous support toward policies and programs that prioritize power development, transportation systems, technology innovation, manufacturing, housing, industrial expansion, and sustainable national growth.

“Renewed Hope Engineers commends the APC for conducting a successful and democratic primary process and congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu once again on this well-deserved emergence.
