Eminent pharmacists and healthcare professionals have hailed the unveiling of JunGlobal Healthcare Solutions Limited by Pharm. Judith Ngozi Udeh, describing the initiative as a major step towards improving healthcare market access, institutional partnerships and sustainable healthcare delivery in Nigeria and across Africa.
The commendations came following the official launch of the healthcare consultancy shortly after Udeh completed her five-year tenure at Geneith Pharmaceuticals Limited, where she served as Principal Manager, Marketing, and Head of Hospital and Institutional Business.
Industry stakeholders praised Udeh’s contributions to pharmaceutical development, healthcare advocacy and institutional engagement, noting that the establishment of JunGlobal Healthcare Solutions reflects the growing demand for innovative and data-driven healthcare solutions on the continent.
In a press statement, Principal Pharmacist at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, UUTH, and Secretary of the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria, AHAPN, Akwa Ibom State chapter, Pharm. Faith Ufot Robinson, described Udeh as a “trailblazing pharmaceutical enthusiast and ultimate strategist.”
Robinson, who also serves as Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN, Akwa Ibom State chapter, said the new consultancy would help bridge the gap between healthcare innovation and market expansion.
According to her, Udeh has consistently demonstrated uncommon leadership and commitment towards strengthening healthcare systems and supporting organisations seeking to expand within the Nigerian and African healthcare markets.
Also speaking, Chief Pharmacist at Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, ESUT, and former Chairman of AHAPN, Enugu chapter, Pharm. Chinenye Georgina Okonkwo, recalled Udeh’s immense support for professional and association-based programmes.
“She was our most formidable ally and her support was never halfway. It is rare to find an individual who invests themselves so completely in a cause, but Pharm. Judith Ngozi Udeh is that rare exception,” Okonkwo said.
“She put her full strength behind every initiative we launched and her hands were visible in every victory we claimed. Her impact on our association isn’t just measured in figures, but in the incredible legacy of service she helped us build.”
Okonkwo noted that Udeh played a major role in supporting several professional initiatives, including the association’s first drug exhibition in Enugu through strategic and financial contributions.
In the same vein, healthcare professional, Pharm. Itoro Edet Obong, described Udeh as a forward-thinking pharmacist and healthcare strategist whose professional journey has focused on improving access to quality medicines and strengthening healthcare systems.
According to him, Udeh’s over 18 years of experience spanning pharmaceutical marketing, clinical research and healthcare development have positioned her as one of the leading voices in healthcare market access and institutional partnerships in Nigeria.
At Geneith Pharmaceuticals, Udeh was credited with pioneering the Hospital and Institutional Business, HIB, Unit, which strengthened partnerships between pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and healthcare providers.
The initiative, observers say, helped bridge critical gaps between pharmaceutical supply systems and clinical demand.
Speaking on the launch of JunGlobal Healthcare Solutions, stakeholders noted that the consultancy would focus on enhancing healthcare market access, institutional engagement and healthcare systems strengthening across Africa.
Obong said Udeh had also distinguished herself through several patient-centred healthcare advocacy initiatives.
“Beyond corporate roles, she is known for championing patient-centred care through initiatives such as the Empathy in Healthcare Dialogue Movement and youth-focused health advocacy programmes like the Geneith Health Competition, GHC,” he said.
“In this regard, Judith Udeh stands out as a pharmacist who has moved beyond traditional practice into shaping systems—linking medicine, markets and people for better health outcomes,” he added.
Speaking on the vision behind the consultancy, Udeh said JunGlobal Healthcare Solutions was established to address longstanding gaps in healthcare access, institutional engagement and sustainable healthcare delivery.
“JunGlobal was established to bridge the gap between healthcare innovation and market success. Our focus is to ensure that regulatory approval translates into real access, institutional adoption and sustainable growth,” she said.
She added that the organisation would deploy integrated strategies to support healthcare institutions, pharmaceutical companies and stakeholders seeking to improve healthcare delivery outcomes across Africa.
