A Board Member of the National University of Science and Technology, Abuja, Osabinu Olufemi, has congratulated the Senate Leader, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, on his resounding victory in the All Progressives Congress primary election.
Osabinu, in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, said Bamidele emerged unopposed and polled 29,586 votes, describing the outcome as a strong endorsement of his leadership within the ruling party.

Osabinu further stated that Bamidele had used his position to project Ekiti State positively at the national level through constituency interventions, empowerment programmes and advocacy for improved welfare of Nigerians.
He noted that the consensus nature of the primary reflected the confidence of party leaders, stakeholders and delegates in the lawmaker’s capacity and track record of service.
“At a time when Nigeria requires experienced leadership and legislative stability, Senator Bamidele stands out as a dependable statesman,” the statement read.
He wished the Senate Leader greater wisdom and strength in his continued service to the nation.
