Veteran Fuji icon Saheed Osupa has released his new 2-in-1 album, “Acapella and Metamorphosis” The project is now live on Apple Music and is being promoted across other major streaming platforms. Apple Music lists it as a 2026 Fuji release with five tracks and a total runtime of 1 hour 15 minutes.
The album comes after weeks of buildup on social media, where posts announcing its availability helped build anticipation. Promotional materials framed the project as a major addition to Osupa’s catalog.
With “Acapella and Metamorphosis” , Osupa reinforces his place among Fuji’s most respected voices. His music has long carried Yoruba cultural storytelling, strong lyrical depth, and a sound that resonates with both longtime Fuji fans and new listeners drawn to traditional rhythms. The album now sits at the top of his latest releases on Apple Music.
The title itself sets the tone. “Acapella” suggests a stripped-down, voice-driven approach, while “Metamorphosis” points to growth, reinvention, and artistic evolution. Together, they hint at a project that balances classic Fuji sensibilities with a refreshed presentation. That fits Osupa’s reputation for preserving the genre’s foundation while staying active in today’s era. This reading is based on the album title and rollout framing, not an official statement from the artist.
The release also shows how legacy acts are still using full-length albums to make statements. At a time when many artists lean on singles and short drops, a five-track, hour-long album signals patience, range, and confidence in the listening experience. For Osupa, it’s another reminder that Fuji still has space to breathe, evolve, and command attention in the streaming age.
