A new chapter in automobile technology and clean energy transportation is set to begin in Edo State as Diverse Autocare Centre has announced the official commissioning of its newly developed Diverse Automobile Hub and CNG Conversion Centre in Benin City.
The announcement was made during a press conference held in Benin City, where management of the company unveiled details of the ambitious automotive project aimed at transforming vehicle maintenance, clean energy adoption, and technical training in the South-South region.
Speaking at the briefing, officials of the company said the new facility, located at KM 6, Sapele Road, directly opposite the Edo Production Centre before Limit Junction, represents the next phase in the evolution of Diverse Autocare Centre, which has operated for years within the Edo Production Centre axis providing automobile services to customers across Edo and Delta States.
According to the company, the Diverse Automobile Hub is conceived as a modern, technology-driven automotive centre designed to provide world-class automobile solutions under one roof.
The facility will offer advanced vehicle diagnostics, servicing and repairs, wheel alignment, bodyworks, and emergency response services.
A major highlight of the project is the establishment of a state-of-the-art Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Conversion Centre, which management described as the company’s contribution towards supporting the Federal Government’s clean energy and alternative fuel initiative.
The centre is expected to provide professional CNG conversion services for private car owners, commercial transport operators, corporate fleets, and government agencies seeking more affordable and energy-efficient transportation options.
Management also disclosed that the Hub is positioning itself for the future of mobility through Electric Vehicle (EV) marketing and charging solutions.
Beyond automobile services, the company said the facility will also function as a technical training centre for technicians, students, and artisans interested in modern automobile technologies and clean energy systems.
The official commissioning of the Diverse Automobile Hub CNG Conversion Centre will hold on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, in Benin City, with company representatives expressing the hope that the project would contribute significantly to employment generation, technical capacity development, and the growing adoption of cleaner transportation technologies in Edo State and beyond.
