Tkeyz’s ‘Oluwatosin’ records over 50 million streams across platforms

Oluwatosin Oluwatimileyin Akinsuyi, professionally known as Tkeyz, reached a significant milestone in early 2026 after surpassing one million monthly listeners on Spotify. The figure reflects a measurable increase in listenership and audience reach within the Nigerian gospel music space.

This development coincides with the performance of his 2025 single “Oluwatosin,” featuring SteveHills. The track has recorded more than 15 million streams on Spotify and an estimated total exceeding 50 million streams across multiple digital streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Audiomack, and Boomplay. It has also appeared on several gospel-focused playlists.

Tkeyz began releasing music in 2020 with the single “Esé,” which centered on themes of gratitude and reflection. Other releases from that year include “I Am Free.” In 2021, he released “Wine” and “Nara Medley,” and also contributed to Peterson Okopi’s “Madunile,” where he was involved in both vocals and production.

In 2023, his output included “Ologojulo (Live)” and its reprise, as well as “Imela” and the “Moment of Praise” EP. Additional releases from that period include “Glorious Worship,” “Ijo’ Ope,” “I Am Grateful (Live),” and “Evidence.”

During 2025, Tkeyz released “Oluwatosin” featuring SteveHills, followed by a live rendition and the “Oluwatosin II” EP, also involving the same collaborator. Other works released that year include “Christmas Special,” featuring Yinka Davies and Nicholas Emeka, and “Hosanna To The King.”

In 2026, he released “Omemma” in both solo and collaborative versions with Elijah Daniel Omo Majemu, as well as “Baba Modupe” featuring Gaise Baba, “Modupe (Live),” and “Possible” as a featured appearance. His “Intentional Praise (Live)” album documents recordings from live performances.

Within six months of its release in 2025, “Oluwatosin” accumulated over 13 million streams on Spotify. In January 2026, Tkeyz’s Spotify monthly listeners surpassed one million, a figure he referenced via social media platforms. The track also generated user engagement on TikTok, contributing to its distribution.

In terms of recognition, Tkeyz was named Spotlight Artist of the Year at the 2025 Kingdom Achievers Awards and received a nomination for Song of the Year for “Oluwatosin.” He was also awarded Africa’s Best Gospel Music Producer at the CLIMA Awards.
