In a continuation of her bold mission to combat educational inequality in Nigeria, a philanthropist, Dr. Princess Ezinne Agwu has extended school fees intervention to an institution, Saint Maximus International School Abakaliki, in Ebonyi State.
The intervention carried under her foundation, Dr. Princess Ezinne Agwu’s Charity Initiative is the second following the successful rollout of a similar initiative on March 11, 2026, at FAAN Airport School, Enugu in Enugu State. The program has now reached more indigent students, offering them full sponsorship and a renewed opportunity to remain in school despite financial hardship.
At Saint Maximus International School, beneficiaries of the initiative were met with relief and renewed hope, as the burden of school fees was lifted from their families. For many, this support marks a turning point – restoring dignity, stability, and the chance to pursue their dreams through education.
The expansion of the initiative comes at a critical time, as economic pressures continue to threaten access to education for countless Nigerian children. Dr. Agwu’s intervention not only addresses an immediate need but also reinforces the importance of education as a foundation for a better future.
Reaffirming her commitment, Dr. Agwu emphasized that no child should be denied education due to financial constraints, noting that the initiative will continue to reach more schools across the country.
With each new school added, what began as an act of charity is rapidly evolving into a nationwide movement – one that is shaping futures, restoring hope, and building a more empowered generation.
