Nigerian TikTok sensation Blackchully has opened up about her inspiring rise from an ordinary girl to one of the country’s most followed content creators.
Known for her fearless personality, tomboy lifestyle, and authentic storytelling, Blackchully reflected on her journey, saying she is proud of how far she has come through consistency and staying true to herself.
“I moved from a regular girl with big dreams to a TikTok star. I started with simple videos of my hairstyles and dance moves, not knowing it would take me this far. Today, I’m grateful for every step because it shows that if you stay consistent and authentic, you can build something meaningful. I never imagined I would be collaborating with big stars and inspiring so many young people across Nigeria,” she said.
Born on September 9, 2000, in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, she spent her early years in Plateau State, an experience that shaped her bold and individualistic style. She is fluent in Hausa and attended Saint Frances Primary School and Akegbeugwu Girls Secondary School.
Her online journey began in 2020 when she started posting casual content on TikTok. A major breakthrough came in 2025 with her viral single “Payment Before Service” (PBS), a Hausa-language track that significantly boosted her popularity.
Beyond music, Blackchully has built a strong personal brand by sharing her lifestyle and unfiltered self-expressions. She has collaborated with popular Nigerian celebrities including Zubby Michael, Broda Shaggi, Slim Case, Perry Blinks, Flower Boy, and Samkid.
With her energetic dance performances and commanding presence, Blackchully continues to inspire young fans with her authenticity and boundary-pushing content.
