The Convergence Conference series has anchored in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, focused on lifting the middleclass in Niger Delta from neglect and dwindling fortunes.

According to Lanre Oluseye, Convener, whereas all supports favour the lowerclass and the upperclass, the middleclass suffer great deal of neglect and the conference objective is to push middleclass careerists and business owners to cross the barriers that hold them bound.

About 600 CEOs and middle managers are said to be ready for the Port Harcourt gathering to resolve the challenge by interrogating Niger Delta’s investment and business headaches through innovative thinking and strategies.

Oluseye, announcing the coming of the event, said, “The whole idea is to position Niger Delta CEOs, middle managers and businesses owners willing to scale to have conversation with the right people.

“Those at the very top are to talk to those at the middle to push middle managers up. It will also connect those with funding needs to real financial networks to move forward.”

Among top industry leaders expected at the ‘Converge’ are Leye Falade, Managing Director/CEO, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG), Gbite Falade, MD/CEO, Aradel Holdings Plc, Kemi Adeosun, Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Tope Aladenusi of Deloitte Africa, Segun Zaccheaus, Lead Economist and Strategy at PwC and Olakunle Soriyan, Global Thinker, Futurist, and Thought Architect.

Panel discussions will also feature renowned voices including Olakunle Soriyan, Obi Imemba and Viola Graham Douglas.

A major expectation would be participation of Euro-Exim to unveil fund guarantee to help fund seekers scale their businesses, with the opportunity limited not be below $500,000 per beneficiary and maximum $2Billion.

Oluseye of the House on the Rock Mission stressed that, “It is a knowledge conference, not a jamboree, great minds coming together to chart course with ideas and strategies”.

He emphasised that ‘Convergence’ is not free, but for those who prove to be ready to be at hyper summits where the brain works for the rest of the society.
