BOMADI—Residents of Bomadi and political stakeholders have commended the member representing Bomadi Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Kenneth Oboro Preyor, for what they described as effective representation as he marked his 63rd birthday.
Preyor, who chairs the House Committee on Works and Special Projects, received accolades for his dedication to legislative duties and contributions to constituency development.
The celebration coincided with a grand reception for Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, organised by the Ijaw National Congress (INC) in collaboration with Delta Ijaw stakeholders in Bomadi, headquarters of Bomadi Local Government Area. Political associates and well-wishers also attended the birthday event after the governor’s reception.
Speaking at the event, Preyor expressed gratitude to God for his life, acknowledging what he described as enduring grace and faithfulness over the years.
Several speakers at the occasion praised the lawmaker’s performance. The Secretary of Bomadi General Hospital, Tomu Kingsley, highlighted Preyor’s efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure in the area.
He noted that the lawmaker had supported renovation works at the hospital and advocated its upgrade to a central hospital, describing the initiatives as commendable.
Also speaking, Oweikeye Akwagbe lauded Preyor’s representation, stating that his performance has earned him continued support from constituents.
In his remarks, Delta State Commissioner for Housing, Godknows Angele, described the lawmaker as a committed public servant, noting his consistency and dedication to duty.
He congratulated Preyor on his birthday and wished him many more years in good health.
The lawmaker’s wife, Mrs. Campaign Preyor, thanked guests and supporters for joining the family in celebrating the occasion.
The event featured the cutting of the birthday cake and cultural entertainment, drawing participation from community members and political associates.
