
Mr. Austin Iluore, Financial Secretary of the City Boy Movement, Edo State Chapter, and CEO of Austin Iluore Nigeria Limited, has led a delegation on a condolence visit to the Deputy Governor of Edo State following the passing of his mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa (née Enabulele).
Speaking during the visit, Iluore conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to the Deputy Governor and his family, noting that the loss of a mother of such stature is deeply painful.
He described the late matriarch as a woman of enduring values whose legacy of love, strength, and selfless service will continue to inspire many.
He added that her passing is not only a loss to the immediate family but also to the wider community that benefitted from her wisdom and influence.
In his response, the Deputy Governor expressed appreciation to Iluore and his team for the visit and their show of support, describing it as a source of comfort in a difficult period.
He reflected on his mother’s impactful life and thanked the delegation for standing by the family in their time of grief.
Prayers were offered for the repose of her soul and for strength and comfort for the bereaved family.
Madam Idahosa died peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the age of 95. She was widely respected as a devoted matriarch whose life was defined by strong faith, commitment to family, and service to her community.
