TO actualise President Bola Tinubu’s election in 2027, the South West Agenda for Asiwaju, SWAGA, will begin its sensitization and mobilization programme in Akure, the Ondo State Capital on Tuesday.
Led by Prince Dayo Adeyeye, the group, as part of its itinerary is scheduled to pay a courtesy visit to the Deji of Akure on the same day, in what is described as a symbolic homage to traditional authority and grassroots leadership.
Thereafter, SWAGA, which was the first group that started mobilisation for Tinubu before his election in 2023, will host a mega summit on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, expected to attract key stakeholders from government and the political class.
The summit will feature presentations focusing on the achievements and policy direction of the current Federal Government under President Tinubu, alongside critical analysis of Nigeria’s political landscape ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement by the National Secretary, Bosun Oladele, SWAGA disclosed that delegates from various states across the federation, where it maintains active structures, are expected to participate in the two-day event.
