ABEOKUTA — CHAIRMAN of Abejoye Trading Company Limited, Senator Oladipo Odujinrin, has inaugurated the ATC Business and Industrial Park in Ode-Remo, Ogun State, describing it as a major boost to investment, logistics and industrial development.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Odujinrin said the project marked “a new economic chapter” for Remo, Ogun State and Nigeria, stressing that it aligns with the nation’s industrialisation drive and export-led growth strategy.

According to him, the facility is a private sector-driven, infrastructure-backed investment platform designed to meet current economic demands, adding that the park has progressed beyond the conceptual stage, with key infrastructure and tenant activities already in place.

“This is not a proposal but a functioning economic zone with proven demand,” he said.

Odujinrin further highlighted the strategic location of the park, noting its proximity to the Gateway International Airport in Iperu/Ilishan Remo, its accessibility from Lagos within an hour, and its closeness to the proposed Olokola Deep Sea Port.

He explained that the combination of air, sea and road connectivity offers investors significant logistics and distribution advantages.

The lawmaker also announced plans for Phase Two of the project, which will cover the remaining six acres and be opened to co-investors and development partners.

In his remarks, the Ogun State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Adebola Sofela, who represented Governor Dapo Abiodun, described the initiative as a reflection of the state’s commitment to industrial growth and economic expansion.

Sofela said: “This project represents a significant step towards deepening industrialisation, expanding economic opportunities and improving the living standards of our people.”
