Senator Iyabo Obasanjo has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, commending his administration’s strides in infrastructure development and efforts to reposition Nigeria’s economy.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Ogun State, described the President as a courageous and visionary leader, whose policies are beginning to yield tangible results across the country.

Obasanjo particularly commended the ongoing construction, rehabilitation and expansion of federal road networks, noting that Ogun State has witnessed significant improvements under the current administration.

According to her, renewed attention to critical road infrastructure has enhanced connectivity, stimulated economic activities and eased the movement of people and goods within the state and beyond.

“On this special occasion of your birthday, I celebrate your resilience, foresight and unwavering commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria,” she said.

“Your administration’s focus on infrastructure development, especially the ongoing federal road projects in Ogun State, is commendable and impactful.”

She further noted that sustained investment in road infrastructure would continue to drive economic growth, attract investments and improve the overall quality of life for Nigerians.

Obasanjo urged the Federal Government to maintain its prioritisation of people-oriented projects, stressing that such initiatives remain key to national development.

She also wished President Tinubu good health, strength and wisdom as he continues to steer the nation towards greater stability and progress.
