Jalingo — The Executive Secretary of the Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Dr. Echuseh Audu, has voluntarily submitted herself to security and investigative authorities for a probe.
Audu reported to the Police, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Special Adviser on Security to the Governor, and the Taraba State Ministry of Justice to support a comprehensive investigation.
Speaking to newsmen on Sunday, Audu explained that her decision to cooperate with the authorities was aimed at ensuring transparency and maintaining the integrity of the agency.
She emphasized the importance of evidence-based investigations and welcomed the opportunity to clarify any matters under review.
Audu added that submitting herself to the relevant authorities was part of her commitment to accountability and proper governance.
At the time of filing this report, the Police had confirmed issuing an invitation letter to an individual in connection with related inquiries.
