By Ayo Onikoyi

Popular gospel artiste Kenny K’ore has opened up on the reasons behind his recent break from music.

The former member of Infinity, known for hits like Eledumare and I Believe, explained that he relocated abroad in search of better opportunities for his family.

In an interview with Potpourri, he said, “Regarding my hiatus from the music scene, I relocated abroad in pursuit of greener pastures and better opportunities for my family. Although my ‘japa journey’ hasn’t been without its challenges, my heart remains full of gratitude. Being away from the limelight has helped me become fully convinced that my calling in gospel music is for the love of God and my country.

Whether or not it brings financial reward, gospel music will always be an indelible part of my life.”

Kenny K’ore has continued to release music during his time away, including singles like Ma Joba Lo, Spirit in the Name, and Wa Fijo featuring LCBeatz. He also revealed that a new single, Blood-Blood-Blood, is set to drop soon.
