Ouranos Technologies Limited has strengthened its board with the appointment of Mr. Tajudeen Ahmed as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2026.
The company also announced the appointment of Mrs. Omokunbi Adeoti and Mr. Olalekan Olabode as Non-Executive Directors, in a move aimed at reinforcing its governance structure and strategic oversight.
Commenting on the development, Managing Director of Ouranos Technologies, Mr. Mfon Okon, said the appointments mark a major milestone in the company’s growth journey.
According to him, “the appointment of Mr. Tajudeen Ahmed as Chairman, alongside the addition of accomplished professionals such as Mrs. Omokunbi Adeoti and Mr. Olalekan Olabode to our Board, represents an important step in strengthening the governance and strategic leadership of Ouranos Technologies.”
He added that “as organisations across Africa accelerate their digital transformation journeys, strong governance, strategic insight, and operational discipline become even more critical.”
“The depth of experience our new Board members bring will support Ouranos Technologies in delivering innovative, secure, and scalable technology solutions for our customers across the region,” Okon said.
Ahmed brings over 25 years of experience spanning consulting, banking, manufacturing, and capital markets. He has held senior leadership roles in organisations such as Arthur Andersen/KPMG, Zenith Bank Plc, Skye Bank Plc, Variant Advisory Limited, and BUA Group, where he played a key role in the listing of BUA Foods Plc on the Nigerian Exchange.
He holds a degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and an MBA with distinction from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, among other professional bodies.
Adeoti, who joins as Non-Executive Director, brings over 24 years of experience in human capital strategy, governance, and organisational transformation. She currently serves as Chief People Experience Officer at Leadway Group, where she oversees human capital and customer experience across multiple business entities.
She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and has led several large-scale transformation initiatives, including enterprise restructuring and HR digitisation.
Also appointed to the Board is Olabode, a finance and operations executive with over 18 years of multinational experience across logistics, supply chain, and corporate finance.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA, and is currently an Executive MBA candidate at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
The company said the appointments are part of its broader strategy to deepen its focus on enterprise technology delivery, cybersecurity innovation, and strategic partnerships across Africa.
Ouranos Technologies operates as an enterprise technology solutions integrator, managed services provider, and innovation lab, delivering services across IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation for organisations in banking, telecommunications, energy, manufacturing, and the public sector.
Okon reiterated the company’s commitment to strong corporate governance and sustainable growth, noting that the strengthened Board will position the company to better serve its clients and support Africa’s digital transformation agenda.
