UYO – NIGERIA’s Sapphire and Carbuncle Energy Limited has gone global with United Kingdom (UK) incorporation and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Nexarka Group Energy and Infrastructure Holdings.

Multifaceted Sapphire with interests cutting across oil and gas, construction, dredging and more signed the MoU with Nexarka at the Sir Simon Milton Square, London.

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Sapphire, Mkposong Asuquo, said the development is to strengthen investors’ confidence and global credibility in their energy interest including focus on Gas (CNG/LNG infrastructure), exploration and development of assets.

Asuquo reflecting on th development stated, “We’ve taken a major step toward strengthening energy development in Nigeria with the signing of a strategic MoU alongside recent incorporation in the United Kingdom.

The MoU which takes immediate effective with the Nexarka Group intends to bring funding for mid scale infrastructure expected to unlock investments in the range of several hundred million dollars, subject to project development phases.

Asuquo emphasized Sapphire and Carbuncle Energy Limited has already established solid operational footprint in Nigeria over the past few years, gaining valuable experience across the energy value chain.
