JAKESISNEROS Do-Care Foundation, Tutu Groups Africa collaborate on anti-drug campaign

The JAKESISNEROS Do-Care Foundation, in strategic collaboration with Tutu Groups Africa, is proud to announce the launch of a bold and urgent social movement across Abuja and the wider Nigeria under the campaign titled #DreamsOverDrugs.

This initiative, beginning with the North Central Campus Tour on Drug Abuse Sensitization, will engage key institutions including University of Abuja, Baze University, Veritas University, and Nasarawa State University, reaching directly into the heart of our youth population.

In a statement, the advocacy groups said: “Abuja, we can no longer deny the reality before us.

“A city once defined by lifestyle, class, professionalism, and poise is gradually being eroded by the growing prevalence of drug abuse. This crisis is no longer hidden. It is visible in our streets, present in our communities, and affecting the very fabric of our society. It is in our faces, in our noses, and in our eyes.

“While efforts have been made by various stakeholders, the urgency of this moment demands a deeper, more personal intervention. This movement is not just another campaign, it is a direct, human-centered engagement. One-on-one conversations. Mind-to-mind transformation. Real stories. Real impact.

“Through the theme ‘Through Books We Build, Through Drugs We Break,’ this initiative seeks to restore values, inspire purpose, and redirect the energy of young Nigerians toward growth, education, and productivity.

“We are not here to condemn, we are here to confront.
“We are not here to criticize, we are here to rebuild.
“We are not here to observe, we are here to act.

“This is a call to government institutions, private sector leaders, educational bodies, parents, and every concerned Nigerian, the time to rise is now. The future of our youth, and the integrity of our society, depends on what we do today.

“The movement has begun. And it will not stop,” they noted in the statement signed by Tutu Groups Africa in partnership with Jake Sisneros Do-Care Foundation.
