Industry gaps launched my journey into luxury auto brokerage — Mr Bubbles

By Chioma Okoye

A Nigerian luxury auto broker, popularly known as Mr Bubbles, is gaining recognition for reshaping the vehicle sourcing experience through a model built on transparency, accountability, and full-service delivery.

Mr Bubbles, who began his career as a middleman connecting car buyers with sellers, said his early exposure to the industry revealed widespread challenges, including misrepresentation of vehicles and lack of transparency from sellers, issues that often left buyers with unexpected costs and dissatisfaction.

Motivated by these gaps, he transitioned into a full-service luxury auto broker, with a focus on providing Nigerians at home and in the diaspora with a more reliable and stress-free way to acquire vehicles, particularly from the United States market.

Under his current model, Mr Bubbles manages the entire vehicle acquisition process, from sourcing to delivery. This includes comprehensive inspections to verify vehicle condition and authenticity, as well as ensuring that only title & spotless vehicles are purchased.

He also coordinates shipping through trusted logistics partners and provides clients with real-time updates throughout the process. Upon arrival in Nigeria, documentation and customs clearance are handled to facilitate a seamless handover.

Industry observers note that his approach addresses long-standing concerns in the auto brokerage space, where trust deficits have historically influenced buyer decisions.

With growing demand for luxury vehicles among Nigerian consumers, Mr Bubbles’ model is being seen as part of a broader shift towards more structured and customer-focused brokerage services.

As the sector evolves, stakeholders say increased emphasis on transparency and professionalism could play a key role in improving buyer confidence and setting new standards for the industry.
