The multiple world record holder will guide participants through this attempt, expected to attract government, corporate, and entrepreneurial attention while promoting creativity and student participation

While speaking about the initiative, OOU Future Tech Conference Convener, Ademuwagun Mayokun Precious, reveals that the collaboration is expected to create a memorable and impactful experience for students, demonstrating how creativity and innovation could bring young people to converge on a global stage.

Besides connecting students with industry leaders and mentors,” he says, “the record attempt will highlight the conference, exposing them to opportunities in tech, innovation, and digital entrepreneurship.

He also interns at Animation Hub, building tech skills through innovations and education.

Sharing his thoughts on the upcoming conference, Africa CEO, Auqli, Paul Jatai weighs in on the Future Tech Conference: “Africa is at an interesting moment. Opportunities that did not exist ten years ago are now accessible to a student with a phone and a working idea. But the students who will benefit from this moment are not the ones who can identify what is wrong. They are the ones who have trained themselves to ask what can be done about it.

“I am looking forward to being at the OOU FutureTech Conference because this conversation belongs in a university room. I believe no one is too young or too under-resourced to start creating value today. Africa’s digital future will not happen until we either help build it and make that future a reality.”
Expressing his own view about the auspicious event, Luther Lawoyin, CEO of Pricepally, who is also expected as keynote speaker, says, “What stands out to me about the conference is that it is not just talking about the internet, it is showing young people how to use it with purpose. Too many people see the digital space as a place for quick wins, but the real opportunity is in building skills, solving problems, and creating value. What this conference is doing is important because it gives students clarity on what is possible and exposes them to practical paths in areas like Web 2, Web 3, and the creative economy.

“From my experience building a business, the internet rewards consistency, discipline, and value creation. There are real opportunities to earn, grow, and compete globally. This conference is helping to bridge that gap by moving students from just learning to actually earning. The goal is for them to live with a different mindset, one that focuses on building something meaningful and sustainable.”

The OOU Future Tech Conference unites innovators, leaders, and students to shape Africa’s tech future.
