Enviable Transport has announced plans to deploy more Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) tricycles across the country, sparking widespread jubilation among drivers and transport operators.
The initiative aims to promote the use of CNG as a cleaner, cheaper, and more efficient alternative to petrol and diesel-powered vehicles.
In a statement signed by the Group Managing Director, Chief Chukwuemeka Ituma, the company highlighted the multiple benefits of the Drive CNG Initiative.
“Drivers and fleet operators will significantly be forever grateful to us about the introduction of this initiative,” Ituma said. “The switch to CNG will reduce operational expenses and increase profitability.”
He added that the move aligns with global efforts toward environmentally friendly energy solutions while tackling the rising cost of transportation in Nigeria.
Beyond cost savings, Ituma noted that the initiative will contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing air pollution and promoting cleaner urban environments.
“Beyond economic advantages, this initiative is expected to contribute positively to environmental sustainability by reducing air pollution and promoting cleaner urban living,” he stated.
Enviable Transport, which was established with the primary goal of delivering a convenient and reliable transportation system in Nigeria, is rapidly expanding its services. The company has positioned itself as a key player in driving innovation and sustainability within the transport sector.
As the CNG tricycle rollout begins, stakeholders expressed optimism that the initiative will encourage wider adoption of CNG-powered vehicles and set a new standard for efficient and eco-friendly transportation across the country.
