Founder and Creative Director of Woof Studios Africa, Adetutu Laditan, has said the ECHO Accelerator is designed to reposition digital creators within the value chain in the economy.
Laditan stated that the initiative seeks to move creators beyond visibility to ownership by equipping them with the tools to build sustainable, revenue-generating systems around their content.
Her remarks come as the organisers expand the programme’s faculty ahead of its April launch, with the addition of media entrepreneur Adebola Williams and content creator Korty EO.
Williams, Chairman of AW Network and founder of RED For Africa, is recognised for leading major cultural and political campaigns across Africa, while Korty EO, founder of “Any Production,” has gained prominence for her distinctive storytelling style among young audiences.
They join an existing lineup that includes Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri, travel filmmaker Tayo Aina, digital entrepreneur Tomike Adeoye, actor Elozonam Ogbolu, and health influencer Chinonso Egemba.
Other contributors include Dammy Twitch, Seyi Ekisola, Ibidunmi Oladayo, and talent manager Miss Tennie, who will lead sessions on deal structuring and creator monetisation.
The six-week accelerator will run in a hybrid format across Lagos and online, focusing on monetisation, business infrastructure, and global positioning for digital creators.
Applications for the inaugural cohort are currently ongoing, with only 15 creators to be selected, as the programme positions itself as a major investment in Africa’s rapidly growing creator economy.
