Nigeria’s technology-driven Credit Rating Agency (CRA), DATAPRO, will train media practitioners on credit rating and financial reporting in the age of artificial intelligence (AI).
The training, part of DATAPRO’s 2021 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aims to increase public awareness of the value and role of the credit rating industry.
Participants will include editors, financial analysts, communication officers, and other media and financial industry influencers. The virtual programme is scheduled to hold tomorrow.
Commenting on the theme, “Reporting Financial Analysis in the Age of AI”, DATAPRO’s Executive Director and Chief Rating Officer, Mr. Oladele Adeoye, said: “Financial reporting is no longer just about numbers; it is about trust, transparency, and resilience. In the age of AI, media practitioners must be equipped to interpret dynamic data and communicate it in ways that empower society.”
The training is designed to give media practitioners practical insights into how AI tools are reshaping financial reporting and analysis.
DATAPRO also organizes the International Credit Rating Webinar annually in October to promote the credit rating industry. The agency is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
