A famous disc jockey, Micheal Ikudabo, popularly called DJ Gasket, has disclosed that redefining the role of music beyond entertainment is central to his identity as young artiste.

Ikudabo stated that even with this, he would continues to blend creativity with humanitarian service in a rapidly evolving music industry.

According to him, music provides a powerful vehicle for influence, responsibility and community engagement.

In statement by his media team on Wednesday, the Kogi State–born DJ, who resides in Lagos, assured music lovers that his platform not only to entertain but also to make a positive social impact.

DJ Gasket, who is also a songwriter and recording artiste, began his creative journey in the Island axis of Lagos, where his rare combination of DJing and singing quickly earned him recognition within the local music circuit.

Through consistent performances and studio work, he disclosed that the efforts has earned him opportunity to forged collaborations with notable artistes including Terry Apala, Magnito and Hotkidfire.

His recent collaborative release with the trio has further boosted his profile, sparking conversations across social media platforms and positioning him before a wider and more diverse audience.
