Ngozi Adeleke has been elected as the President of Pipeline Professionals Association of Nigeria. Ngozi is a seasoned engineering professional, innovation advocate, and strategic leader with over two decades of diverse experience in the energy industry.


She holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Benin, is a COREN-registered engineer and has an MBA from IE Business School, Madrid. Her career spans impactful roles at Shell Plc both locally and internationally and currently at Renaissance Africa Energy Company, where she serves as Pipelines Asset Manager.


In her current role, Ngozi is reshaping the pipelines narrative by championing a multi-year rejuvenation strategy aimed at delivering sufficient capacity to support 500,000 barrels of oil per day aligned with the company’s growth ambitions. Under her leadership, the team has achieved 100% pipeline availability and eliminated illegal connections, setting new benchmarks for operational excellence.


She leverages digital technologies and simplification principles to drive innovation, enhance asset reliability, and embed sustainability into core business practices. Her leadership in commissioning SPDC’s Southern Swamp Associated Gas Gathering Facilities stands as a testament to her ability to deliver high-impact projects that accelerate domestic gas production.


She is a recipient of multiple awards and has been widely recognised as a business improvement champion with a history of implementing new initiatives and technologies to strengthen the business, enhance operational efficiency and control costs.


A proponent of business transformation, she supports the implementation of forward-thinking strategies that improve performance and reduce costs. As President of Women in Renaissance (WiRe), she is a passionate advocate for gender parity and women’s development, creating platforms for women to thrive and lead. She is equally committed to mentoring young professionals and building inclusive, high-performing teams.


A wife and mother of two, Ngozi brings empathy, resilience, and a growth mindset to every challenge making her a driving force for innovation and transformation in the energy sector.
