The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with Bellazir Energy Ltd, has successfully concluded a month-long fashion design training programme in Lagos, aimed at strengthening local skills and promoting entrepreneurship in Nigeria’s fashion industry.
The programme, which ended on February 13, 2026, trained 20 participants, equipping them with practical fashion design skills to support self-employment and small business development.
Chief Executive Officer of Bellazir Energy Ltd, Christabel Aniemeka, commended the NCDMB for its support and expressed appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his administration’s commitment to youth empowerment and capacity building.
She noted that the initiative aligns with broader efforts to promote local content development, stimulate economic growth, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities through skills acquisition.
The training forms part of ongoing programmes designed to build local capacity and encourage entrepreneurship, particularly among young Nigerians seeking opportunities in the creative and fashion sectors.
