Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, partnered with luxury hospitality brand The Delborough, to host a black-tie Gala Night in Lagos, bringing together Nigeria’s top business and public sector leaders.
The event featured keynote addresses by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga ‘GB’ Agboola, focusing on innovation, leadership, and economic growth.
Guests included Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Sierra Leone President Ernest Bai Koroma, and prominent figures from tech, aviation, and fashion industries. The evening celebrated Nigeria’s business landscape and Flutterwave’s commitment to supporting local enterprises globally.
Olugbenga ‘GB’ Agboola emphasized Flutterwave’s role as a financial infrastructure partner, while Dr. Stanley Ifeanyi Uzochukwu of The Delborough highlighted the importance of creating spaces for meaningful business relationships.
Hosted by Mojibade Sosanya, with Olugbenga ‘GB’ Agboola, Founder and CEO of Flutterwave, delivering a keynote that reflected on Flutterwave’s journey and its evolving role as a financial infrastructure partner for Nigeria’s biggest businesses, the distinguished guest list reflected the breadth and influence of Nigeria’s business and cultural landscape.
Adding to the evening’s memorable moments, Dr. Cosmas Maduka (CON), President and CEO of Coscharis Group, spoke glowingly about the importance of building innovative, resilient businesses in Nigeria. He also commended Olugbenga ‘GB’ Agboola for his leadership and vision, praising Flutterwave’s impact on the financial technology landscape across Africa.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu also shared warm and encouraging remarks, offering strong words of support for Agboola and urging him to continue the great work of building globally competitive financial infrastructure from Nigeria.
