The 2026 edition of the AMC Awards was held in grand style, delivering an evening of elegance, recognition, and industry celebration as advertising practitioners, brand leaders, and key stakeholders gathered in a fully packed hall filled with creativity and influence.

The prestigious event brought together advertising practitioners, outdoor advertising professionals, brand Managing Directors and CEOs, Heads of Marketing, OAP’s, journalists, and members of the advertising association. Also, in attendance were the Chairman of the Association, Mr. Tony Awobode, alongside representatives of OYSAA, headed by Ass. Director Mr Oyebanji and ARCON Zonal Head, Mrs Hadiza Bello , both of whom were duly present at the ceremony.

The atmosphere was nothing short of glamorous, as industry players networked, exchanged ideas, and celebrated excellence across the advertising ecosystem. One of the most anticipated moments of the night was the presentation of the “Most Visible Brand of the Year” awards, which were won by outstanding brands across different industries, recognizing their strategic use of outdoor and integrated advertising to achieve strong market visibility.

A major highlight of the evening was the official launch of a new book titled “WIN WITH BILLBOARD”, authored by the Creative Director of AMC Awards and CEO of CityCrier Communication Ltd, Asiwaju Ezra Okebisi. The book launch drew significant attention from guests and industry professionals, positioning the publication as a valuable contribution to the outdoor advertising space.

Speaking at the launch, Asiwaju Ezra Okebisi emphasized that WIN WITH BILLBOARD was written to educate brands on how to effectively use billboards as a communication and sales-driving tool, while also serving as a knowledge-enhancing guide for advertising practitioners. He stressed the book’s practical approach, noting that it is easy to read, rich with visual illustrations, and designed to clearly communicate real-world billboard strategies that deliver measurable results.

According to him, the book bridges the gap between creativity and performance, offering vital insights into billboard planning, message clarity, audience targeting, and execution in today’s competitive advertising environment.
