I sincerely commend Governor. Monday Okpebholo of Edo State over his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to the growth and transformation of Edo State.

Your administration has demonstrated a clear focus on inclusive governance, ensuring that development is not limited to the state capital but extended to every local community across our dear state.

The recent handover of 54 construction equipment units to Local Government Councils is a remarkable and strategic achievement. This initiative clearly reflects your belief that true development begins at the grassroots. By empowering local councils with the necessary tools to execute projects effectively, your government is promoting faster infrastructure delivery, rural development, improved road maintenance, environmental sanitation, and stronger community engagement. This action speaks volumes about your dedication to bringing the government closer to the people.

Your leadership continues to show that governance must be practical, people-centered, and results-driven. When government resources are strategically deployed to strengthen local capacity, it enhances service delivery and builds public confidence in leadership.

However, lasting progress requires collective responsibility. No administration can succeed without the support, cooperation, and constructive involvement of the people. Supporting your government does not mean blind loyalty; rather, it means active participation, thoughtful engagement, and a shared commitment to the peace, stability, and prosperity of Edo State.

Political unity and stability remain essential for sustainable development. When citizens, traditional leaders, civil society groups, and political stakeholders work together in good faith, it creates an enabling environment for youth empowerment, job creation, improved security, quality education, better healthcare, and economic growth.

I especially call on the youths of Edo to remain focused and responsible. Let the youths of Edo rise above negativity, reject manipulation, and focus on what truly benefits the state. When we choose unity over division and facts over rumors, we protect our home and build a stronger future for generations to come. Decisions about our state must not be influenced by unverified information or external narratives that do not reflect the true realities on the ground. Instead, let informed judgment, civic responsibility, and genuine concern for progress guide our support and engagement.

Your Excellency, your vision for grassroots empowerment and inclusive governance is commendable. I encourage all sons and daughters of Edo State to stand united behind your administration, offering support, constructive feedback, and active collaboration to move our state to even greater heights.

May your leadership continue to foster peace, strengthen institutions, and deliver lasting development for the benefit of present and future generations.
