Christopher University, Mowe, Ogun State, has matriculated 184 students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The new intakes cut across the Schools of Allied Health, Sciences, Business Studies, Law, Technology and Social Sciences.

The ceremony was held at Chinua Achebe Auditorium, with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oyelana Olatunji cautioning the students against drug abuse and cultism.

Oyelana emphasised the management’s zero tolerance for drug abuse and other related crimes and warned that any student who breaks any of the rules would be suspended or expelled based on the gravity of the offence.

He advised the students to remain focused on their dreams and make right choices, associate with positive peers and do regular self-evaluation to stay on track for academic success.

The VC noted that the university would soon commence post graduate programmes in September 2026.
The Founder of Christopher University, Dr. Christopher Ezeh, in his remarks, emphasized self-discipline as the foundation of success.
He said, “As teenagers, you are prone to a lot of distractions especially in this world of technology and westernized lifestyle. A lack of self-discipline can lead to you derailing and getting carried away on campus.”
Represented by the Bursary, Mr. Francis Ezeh, he warned the students against distractions and encouraged them to balance, academic, social, and spiritual aspects of university life.
Present at the ceremony were management staff of the university and a representative of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Mrs Ibiwoye Kafayat.
