The Daramola Dynasty Foundation; a charitable non-governmental organization, has concluded its annual Christmas Food Drive, feeding over 2,000 families in Ogun State community.
The initiative, held recently at aimed to alleviate food insecurity among underserved households, providing essential items such as rice, cooking oil, noodles, bottled water, and cash support.
Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the initiative, citing its impact on their festive season.
One of the beneficiaries, an octogenarian woman noted that the food items would sustain her and her grandchildren, while another beneficiary said it restored his hope in community support.
The outreach was supported by corporate partners UAC Foods, Dufil, and CWAY.
The village food outreach which took place at Isara Remo, in Remo North Local Government Area of Ogun state witnessed quiz competition, spelling bee, and fun fair for school children.
Speaking during the outreach, founder of the foundation, Engr. Olanrewaju Daramola reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to compassion-driven development, emphasizing the importance of caring for vulnerable communities.
He said the initiative was aimed at ensuring that no Nigerian goes hungry during the festive season.
According to Engr. Daramola, the foundation continues to focus on meeting basic human needs while strengthening community resilience through consistent year-round interventions.
He affirmed that, the foundation would remain committed to expanding its reach and impact in 2026, while calling on individuals, organizations and partners to join its mission of delivering hope, relief and opportunity to underserved communities.
