
The Ruby Awareness Initiative Foundation (RAIF) has successfully hosted its maiden Youth Carnival for young people across Delta State, adding colour, music, and excitement to the yuletide festivities.
The carnival stood out as one of the major youth-centric events held in the state during the festive season, drawing attention for its blend of entertainment, advocacy, and community engagement.
Speaking at the event, the Convener of the Delta Youth Carnival and Founder of RAIF, Omonigho Oborevwori, described the carnival as part of the foundation’s mission to unite Delta youths through positive social experiences while promoting awareness, inclusion, and shared identity.
The carnival, held at the Trade Fair, Osubi, Warri, attracted thousands of youths and fun-seekers from across the state. Activities at the event included live music performances, dance displays, comedy skits, health talks, PVC sensitisation, and several other engaging attractions.
The event was further electrified by special appearances from top entertainers, including Erigga, Boy Spyce, Berri-Tiga, Harrysong, Alternate Sound, Deacon Famous, DJ Switchy, Perezz, Destalker, Wao Factor Dance Group, among others, keeping the crowd entertained well into the night.
