Premiere Control and AV Design Limited, in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), has concluded a five-day capacity-building programme on Oil and Gas Project Risk and Value Engineering in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The training, which held from January 19 to January 23, 2026, brought together 35 participants from diverse professional backgrounds within the oil and gas industry, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen local capacity and project delivery standards in the sector.

Designed to address key challenges in project execution, the programme focused on equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with oil and gas projects. Participants were also trained on the application of value engineering principles to optimise project outcomes, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

Speaking at the conclusion of the programme, the Managing Director of Premiere Control and AV Design Limited, Mr. Success Chigbu, expressed appreciation to the NCDMB for the partnership and support that made the training possible. He commended the board for its consistent commitment to developing Nigerian professionals and strengthening indigenous capacity in the oil and gas sector.

“I am delighted to have been part of this training programme and grateful to the NCDMB for the opportunity to collaborate on this initiative,” Chigbu said. “We believe the knowledge and skills gained by participants will significantly enhance their professional competence and contribute to improved project performance across the industry.”

He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting human capital development and contributing to the sustainable growth of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

The successful completion of the programme underscores the shared commitment of Premiere Control and AV Design Limited and the NCDMB to building a skilled workforce capable of driving efficiency, innovation, and value creation in the oil and gas sector. Stakeholders say the initiative is expected to have a positive and lasting impact on industry practices and project outcomes.
