Oreva Follows in the Footsteps of His Father – Erero

OZORO – THE Special Adviser to the Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Comrade Erero Jacob Oloku, has commended Oreva Ogorugba for hosting a Unity Football Tournament for youths of Otibio Ward, describing the initiative as a reflection of the values and leadership style of his father, the Executive Chairman of Isoko North Local Government, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba.

Erero made the remark after the grand finale of the Otor Igho Community Inter-Quarters Unity Football Tournament, held at Otibio Grammar School, Otor Igho.

The event was witnessed by the Isoko North Council Chairman, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, alongside his wife, Dncs. Veronica Ogorugba.

According to him, bringing the youths of Otibio together through sports is a clear sign that Oreva is learning from the exemplary leadership of Elder Ogorugba, who has made significant contributions to the development of Otor Igho community.

“I personally witnessed the excitement and enthusiasm displayed by everyone, both on the pitch and on the sidelines.

“It was truly encouraging, and I must commend you, my brother, for a job well done,” he said.

Erero also expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman for being a father figure to many, assuring that under his leadership, Otor Igho would continue to experience steady progress and development.

The football tournament, which concluded on January 1, 2026, saw Aziaro/Otie emerge champions after defeating Lagos Quarter by a lone goal.

The grand finale attracted several dignitaries, including the Area Commander, Ozoro Area Command, ACP Yau Zakari; Supervisor for Environment, Isoko North Local Government, Comr. Joshua Alebe; SA to the Chairman, Comr. Oloku Erero; PA to the Chairman, Barr. Isaiah Omoyibo; President, IDU Youth Wing, Comr. Joe Emene; Pioneer President, IDU Youth Wing, Comrade Ede Hyacinth Ewariezi; former President General of Otor Igho Community, Chief P.C. Onaibre; former Leader of the Isoko North Legislative Arm, Hon. Umukoro; former Secretary of Isoko North Local Government, Hon. Christopher Ogor; former Councillor representing Otibio, Hon. Goodluck Obiaro; DOP to the Chairman, Comr. Jude Ogwologho; Director of Media to the Chairman, Ikrumale Monday Gideon; and Chairman Nigeria Youth Council, Isoko North, Comr. Johnson Avinyeze, among others.
