Obanikoro donates six blocks of classroom to Ajiran community

The Ajiran community in Eti-Osa Federal Constituency has once again expressed gratitude to Honourable Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro (IBO) for constructing and handing over a fully equipped block of six classrooms during his tenure as a member of the House of Representatives.

The project, completed and delivered while he represented the constituency, has continued to serve hundreds of schoolchildren, easing congestion, improving learning conditions, and expanding access to quality education in the area. Residents described the intervention as a “life-changing gift” that transformed the community’s educational landscape.

Community leaders noted that the classroom block—alongside several other educational initiatives facilitated by Obanikoro—remains a testament to his genuine love for education and unwavering commitment to the people he served. They recalled that the lawmaker consistently prioritized programmes that uplifted young learners, supported teachers, and strengthened public schools across Eti-Osa.

Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, a community elder said Ajiran remains deeply appreciative of Obanikoro’s gesture. According to him, “Projects like this cannot be forgotten or swept under the carpet. They touched lives, and they still speak for him today.” He added that the community continues to pray for more opportunities for the former lawmaker in the political space so he can “do even more for the people.”

Years after completion, the six-classroom block stands as a visible reminder of Obanikoro’s efforts, underscoring how impactful public service can leave a lasting footprint on communities.
