MyRateAfrica, newly launched web-based billing tool is offering creators, freelancers and small business owners an easier way to generate professional invoices and rate cards without stress or delay.
The platform allows users to create clean, share-ready PDF invoices and rate cards within minutes by simply entering service details, pricing and client information. It is designed to eliminate the common struggle of starting from scratch or relying on poorly structured templates when responding to business opportunities.
Built with Africa’s fast-growing creator and freelance economy in mind, the tool supports billing in five African local currencies, alongside a United States dollar option for users working with international clients. This feature helps reduce errors and saves time that would otherwise be spent on manual currency conversions.
Speaking on the motivation behind the initiative, its creator, Abel Babalola, an entrepreneur, creative director and software engineer, said the idea was born from everyday challenges faced by independent professionals.
“I built MyRate.Africa to remove the stress that comes with trying to send an invoice or rate card at short notice. When an opportunity comes, you should be able to respond fast and still look professional,” Babalola said.
Beyond invoicing, the product forms part of a broader ecosystem of digital solutions developed by Babalola, including creator-focused financial tools and AI-powered utilities aimed at solving practical, real-world problems. His products are reportedly used by over 5,000 people daily.
The platform is currently available online and can be accessed immediately by users seeking a simpler, more professional approach to billing.
