
The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with GMG Global Construction, has successfully concluded a five-day training programme on Supply Chain Logistics in Oil and Gas Operations.
The training, held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, brought together 30 participants drawn from various organisations within the oil and gas industry.
Participants expressed delight at the outcome of the programme, commending the NCDMB Board, led by Engr. Felix Ogbe, for providing the opportunity to enhance their professional capacity. They also praised the organisers for the quality of facilitation and the depth of knowledge shared during the sessions.
At the closing ceremony, participants were presented with starter packs to support the practical application of the skills and knowledge acquired during the training.
The programme covered key areas such as procurement, transportation, and inventory management, with emphasis on global best practices and industry standards in oil and gas operations.
The partnership between NCDMB and GMG Global is aimed at strengthening capacity building and human capital development within the oil and gas sector. The training forms part of ongoing efforts to equip Nigerian professionals with the requisite skills to compete effectively in the industry.
Participants reaffirmed their commitment to applying the knowledge gained to improve workplace efficiency and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
