NANS congratulates Acting VC of TASUED, Prof. Adeogun

….Lauds student-centric leadership

The National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, has commended the Acting Vice Chancellor of the Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, Prof. Adekunle Adeogun, for his leadership style which it described as student-centric.

The commendation came during a courtesy visit to the university by the leaders of the association.

In a statement by the National Public Relations Officer, Comrade Adeyemi Samson Ajasa,  it said the visit was to also engage the management in constructive discussions on student welfare and institutional harmony.

“NANS heartily congratulates the Acting Vice-Chancellor and commends his magnanimity, openness, and student-centric approach to leadership. Of particular note is his timely and pragmatic intervention in resolving the recent Students’ Union issues, his willingness to engage students through open-door consultations, and his receptiveness to innovative ideas aimed at improving student welfare across the university.

‘The association applauds the Acting Vice-Chancellor for fostering an atmosphere of dialogue, inclusiveness, and mutual respect, which has contributed to restoring calm and strengthening trust between students and the university management. NANS recognizes these efforts as hallmarks of progressive leadership and good governance within the academic community.

“Consequently, the National Association of Nigerian Students hereby passes a Vote of Confidence on the leadership of the Acting Vice-Chancellor. NANS reaffirms its commitment to work with his administration in synergy and collaboration, partnering with the university management to promote peace, harmony, and sustainable development within the institution.

” NANS remains steadfast in its resolve to support policies and initiatives that advance student welfare, academic excellence, and a stable learning environment, and looks forward to a productive relationship with the Acting Vice-Chancellor and the entire management of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education.”
