Juwon Razaq completes executive programme at Imperial College Business School

International Businessman, Juwon Lawal Razaq has completed an Executive Programme at Imperial College Business School, London, adding to a long record of academic and professional development. The programme, positioned above the MBA level, focuses on executive leadership and global business strategy.

On 21 December 2025, he was welcomed into the Imperial College Business School Hellenic Association on LinkedIn, a private network of senior professionals and alumni connected to the institution.

Born on 22 October 1979, Razaq’s path into business began early. Following the death of his father in 1999, he assumed responsibility for the family’s palm kernel oil business, an experience that exposed him to key leadership and management. He officially began his professional career in 2005, when he launched Stevepel Energy Resources Limited, gradually expanding from agribusiness into the maritime and energy sectors. He was also a Senior Trader at Singapore’s Winson Oil Trading Pte Ltd from 2016 to 2019.

His academic background includes a B.Sc and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, as well as executive education at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. The Imperial College programme represents the latest stage in that progression.

Razaq is the founder of Crestal Group, formerly known as Africent Group, and AfricentOCL UK, with business interests spanning energy, marine logistics, and commodities. He also owns JuwonOil, a Texas-based energy trading company. Over the years, he has become a recognised figure within the maritime industry.

Beyond business, he holds several international affiliations. He is a UN Eminent Peace Ambassador with the International Peace Advocates, a member of the Commonwealth Entrepreneurs Club, and was admitted to the Forbes Business Council in 2020.

Despite his expanding portfolio, Razaq is known for maintaining a private personal life. He rarely speaks publicly about his personal affairs, choosing instead to be deliberate and measured about how his businesses are built and presented.
