Elizade JAC Autoland Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Sterling Bank Plc to make brand new vehicles more accessible to Nigerians across different income brackets through structured and flexible financing options of up to four years.
The partnership was formally unveiled at an event held at the Elizade JAC Headquarters on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Lagos, bringing together executives of both organisations, members of the media and other key stakeholders.
The collaboration is positioned as a response to the growing demand for affordable, brand new mobility solutions in Nigeria, while also addressing the financing challenges that often limit vehicle ownership. Through the arrangement, customers purchasing vehicles from Elizade JAC Autoland will have access to structured auto financing, flexible repayment tenors and dedicated support from both institutions throughout the purchase process and beyond.
Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, Demola Ade-Ojo, described the partnership as a deliberate step towards deepening customer value and simplifying the vehicle ownership journey for Nigerians. Welcoming guests and representatives of Sterling Bank, he noted that accessibility and customer satisfaction have always been central to the company’s philosophy.
“At Elizade JAC Autoland, our goal has always been to make quality vehicle ownership more accessible and rewarding. Today’s partnership brings that goal closer to reality,” Ade-Ojo said. According to him, the collaboration ensures that customers who purchase vehicles from Elizade JAC will enjoy “structured vehicle financing solutions, flexible repayment tenors, and dedicated support from both Sterling Bank and Elizade JAC throughout the entire purchase process and after.”
He explained that the partnership is founded on a shared commitment to customer-centric innovation, combining Sterling Bank’s financial expertise with Elizade JAC’s automotive portfolio and service experience. “We are simplifying the vehicle ownership journey and removing traditional barriers to access,” he stated.
David Adebayo, Vice President, Consumer Banking at Sterling Bank, explained that the initiative aligns squarely with the bank’s broader strategic framework known as HEART, which focuses on health, education, agriculture, renewable energy and transportation.
“Transportation is our focus here, and we understand that we cannot achieve maximum impact alone. Collaboration across industries is essential,” Adebayo said. He noted that the partnership with Elizade JAC was carefully designed to deliver reliable and suitable vehicles to customers, while removing bottlenecks traditionally associated with vehicle financing.According to him, the scheme is open to both existing and prospective Sterling Bank customers.
Adebayo further disclosed that the financing structure allows for repayment over a reasonable period, and that customers who wish to upgrade their vehicles within a few months would also receive support. “Even if customers want to upgrade their vehicles within months, support will be provided. This system benefits individuals, staff, and SMEs alike,” he explained.
Outlining the practical steps involved in accessing the facility, Adebayo said customers can visit any JAC Motors showroom, either physically or online, to view available vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles and trucks. “Customers can view a vehicle, request a proforma invoice and submit it to Sterling Bank,” he said.
He added that the partnership includes a 10 per cent discount on all vehicles for Sterling Bank customers. Once the proforma invoice is submitted, the pre-approved limits for existing customers allow for quick processing, after which customers can complete the transaction and take delivery of their vehicles.
Providing further insight into the operational side of the partnership, the Head of Corporate Sales at Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, Oluwaseun Ayanbadejo, said the collaboration is designed to eliminate delays commonly associated with auto financing in Nigeria.
“Our main goal is to ensure that all customers receive the solutions they need and can complete their vehicle purchase efficiently. This partnership with Sterling Bank supports fast delivery for auto financing, so customers do not need to wait months for their vehicles,” Ayanbadejo said.
During a question-and-answer session with members of the media, the Chief Operating Officer of Elizade JAC Autoland Limited, Arvind Bhardwaj, reiterated the company’s readiness to meet the demands of Nigeria’s market in the area of affordable, brand new mobility. He emphasised that the company has both the capacity and the product range to support the expected uptake from the partnership.
Bhardwaj disclosed that vehicles available under the scheme include passenger cars, SUVs, sedans and trucks, catering to a wide range of personal and commercial needs. He reaffirmed Elizade JAC’s commitment to ensuring quality, reliability and after-sales support as part of the overall value proposition being offered to customers.
