Award shows are the ultimate fashion playground. AFRIMA 2026 was more like it, with celebs bringing their A-game in style and glamour to the red carpet, making the night unforgettable
From bold statements to elegant sophistication, the AFRIMA red carpet that was rolled out in front of the prestigious Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, last Sunday night, was a vibrant explosion of African fashion. The stars showed up in their blaze of glory, adorning stylish ensembles that reflected the spirit of the night.
The fashion was bold, expressive, and proudly African. Designers showcased their best, blending cultural heritage with modern trends.
Stars like Rema, Juma Jux, Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, Manamba Kanté, Jessy B, Nika, DJ Moh Green, Mr P, Phyno, Juliet Ibrahim, Iyabo Ojo, Uche Montana, Yvonne Jegede, Tee-Mac, Annie Idibia, Stonebwoy among others stole the show with their stunning outfits.From singer Wendy Shay’s blonde bombshell look to Tracy Shay’s elegant jumpsuit, the fashion was on point.
Juliet Ibrahim nailed it with her gold-coloured gown, just as Annie Idibia looked ethereal in her form-fitting dress cascades into a dramatic train of clustered gold pearls and vibrant gemstones, emphasizing luxury and elegance. Iyabo Ojo maintained a simple look in her black satin outfit. In all, it was a night of showcasing African music, culture and fashion. The event was hosted by Eni and Claudia, with fashion commentary by Tosyn Bucknor and Ariane Celeste Moua, highlighting the best looks and trends.
