Nigerian recording artist Adaeze Mogbogu, professionally known as AdaezeBDG, is reclaiming attention across Africa with her latest musical offering, YOLO (You Only Live Once). Born in Anambra State and raised in Lagos, she represents the creative convergence of heritage and metropolitan influence. Her music blends Afro hip-hop and R&B, delivering rhythm-driven storytelling shaped by the pulse of Nigeria’s entertainment capital.
AdaezeBDG complements her artistry with academic depth, holding a Political Science degree from the University of Abuja. Her educational journey broadened her socio-cultural perspective and sharpened her narrative voice, now evident in her songwriting. She has consistently used music as a platform for expression, creating songs that mirror lived realities, ambition, and emotional resonance.
Her career has been defined by notable collaborations, including working with the late legendary producer OJB Jazreel, whose mentorship refined her approach to musical arrangement and vocal structure. She later partnered with producers Joekeny and TY Mix, sustaining her creative evolution while strengthening her presence within Nigeria’s music production ecosystem.
AdaezeBDG’s stage credentials include performing at the FIFA U-17 World Cup opening ceremony in Abuja in 2009, a major global showcase that amplified her visibility early in her career. Since then, she has graced prominent concerts and industry platforms, building a reputation for versatility and performance confidence that aligns with her genre-fluid sound.
Her new single, “YOLO,” produced by Gospelondebeatz, arrives as a statement record energetic, reflective, and culturally connected. The song embraces life’s urgency and encourages bold living, reinforcing her artistic rebirth and maturity.
