In Nigeria’s fast-evolving digital economy, professionals who can connect online visibility with real financial literacy are increasingly shaping how young entrepreneurs think about wealth.
One of such figures is Issa Bashiru Arowolo, an Abuja-based digital marketing professional whose work sits at the intersection of search engine optimisation, investment education and small business development.
Originally from Ilorin in Kwara State, Arowolo studied Political Science at the University of Ilorin, a background he says helped him understand policy, governance and the broader economic environment in which businesses operate. Over the years, he has built a career in digital marketing, focusing particularly on SEO strategies that help African businesses gain visibility in competitive online spaces.
While many digital marketers concentrate solely on brand growth and online sales funnels, Arowolo’s work has gradually expanded into financial education. Colleagues in the industry describe him as part of a new wave of professionals who see digital tools not just as marketing channels, but as platforms for economic empowerment.
