The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, in partnership with Barrister Festus Adebayo, has presented an Award of Excellence to Dr. Oluwatosin Olatujoye, Group Chief Executive Officer of Zylus Group, at the African Housing Awards 2025 held in Abuja.
The award recognises Dr. Olatujoye’s leadership and contributions to housing delivery, urban development and real estate innovation across Africa. The ceremony attracted policymakers, industry leaders and stakeholders in the built environment sector, celebrating initiatives shaping the future of housing on the continent.
Speaking after receiving the award, Dr. Olatujoye expressed gratitude, describing the honour as a reflection of collective effort at Zylus Group.
“This recognition is not just for me, but for the entire Zylus Group team and our partners who believe that dignified housing and strong communities are central to Africa’s future,” he said. “We remain committed to delivering affordable, quality housing solutions that transform lives and cities across the continent.”
He reaffirmed the company’s focus on responsible real estate investment, community development and capacity building within the housing value chain.
Presenting the award, Minister Dangiwa commended the recipients for their contributions to the sector, noting that the African Housing Awards highlight innovation, collaboration and sustainable development.
“The African Housing Awards reflect our shared commitment to strengthening housing policies, encouraging private sector participation and promoting investments that deliver real value to communities,” the minister said. “We celebrate Dr. Olatujoye and other honourees for exemplifying innovation and public service, which are essential for economic growth and sustainable urban development.”
The African Housing Awards 2025 showcased leadership and forward-looking solutions, reinforcing Africa’s growing role in setting global standards for housing and urban development.
