GWR: TBJ Media Group’s Thebeckyjoe to attempt largest social media marketing lesson

What a remarkable story it will turn out to be if Nigerian digital coach, Jona Becky, fondly referred to as Thebeckyjoe, attempts to break the Guinness World record at the start of 2026, by empowering 3,000 youths on social media education and surpassing the existing record of 2,185 people, achieved by Pushkar Raj Thakur in New Delhi, India on 29 May 2022.

This milestone places Nigeria at the center of a global digital education conversation, spotlighting African innovation, learning, and youth-led leadership on the world stage.

Having been a former social media manager, Thebeckyjoe, who has moved from small beginning of being social media manager to now founding one of Nigeria’s leading digital marketing agency, TBJ Media Group has decided to equip Nigerians with the right digital skills and expertise to earn online.

Thebeckyjoe’s journey to success started much earlier than most. As a first year Botany student at the University of Largos, Becky was already paying her own school fees, funding her education through consistency and an early
mastery of social media.

From hustling as a teenager to becoming one of the most influential digital voices of her generation, she transformed her phone into a gateway for opportunity.  Today, she’s committed to helping thousands of young Africans do the same.

As a coach, Thebeckyjoe focuses on helping people master social media and earn real income online. Her mission is simple: to empower young Africans to turn their phones into tools for wealth,  opportunity, and independence.

Her inspiration came from watching her 65-year-old father increase daily sales through consistent TikTok content, proving that social media marketing works not just for influencers, but for everyday business owners, including older entrepreneurs.

That same practical strategy is now being scaled to thousands.

Through this initiative, she offers not only world-class training but also scholarships, smartphones, digital tools, and cash prizes, ensuring participants
have everything they need to begin their journey toward financial freedom.

The goal for Thebeckyjoe is clear and audacious: to put ₦3.6 billion into the pockets of 3,000 young Africans by December 2026.  

But how is she qualified to do this?
Five years ago, Becky lost her 9-5 job due to the lockdown in 2020. Then she discovered social media could do more than entertain, it could pay bills. She taught herself digital marketing, paid her own school fees all through university, and graduated debt-free. All from her phone.

But here’s the thing: she looked around and saw millions of young Nigerians with the same hustle, same talent but no one was showing them how. So she decided to do something about it.

On January 29th, 2026, Becky will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Social Media Marketing Lesson in Africa. She’ll teach practical ways to earn ₦50k–₦100k
monthly from your phone, with a goal to put ₦3.6 billion into the pockets of young Nigerians by December 2026.
